How can I increase the number of decimal places in the $ markdown field of each Order/Invoice line?

I'm not sure where or when the markdown defaults to 2 dps? We would prefer 3 dps. Is there a way to make this change?

Thanks in advance

Stew

The decimal places are based on the currency setup. I'm not sure if you can get just the markdown amount to show 3 decimal places - a currency level change would be reflected in all currency fields.

Be very careful here as well.  Years ago, we learned the hard way about increasing the decimal places.  We are a USD based company using multi-currency.  We needed a value in inventory to reflect greater than 2 decimals, so we changed our Currency Setup for the USD to five decimal places.  Now, all areas of GP are out to 5 decimal places (ie, g/l, sales, A/R, Inventory, etc) which causes all sorts of small issues.  Once you increase your currency id related to your funcitonal currency, you cannot decrease it.

    Best regards,

    Dale
