Adding a NEW RANGE in an already existing report?!

Hello there,

We are using a very old version of Dynamics GP (6.0). I use report writer a lot to change reports regularly but I am struggling to find a way of adding an extra range to a report.

I am using Reports > Sales > Analysis > SOP Inventory Sales Report. (when I edit I go to Tools > Customise > Modify Current Report)

In this report I can refine the data by "Document Date", "Item Number" and "Document Number", what I would like to add is another range "Class ID".... is this possible?? and how do I do that?

Thanks for your help in advance ..

Vic

You are correct, I have been with the company over 22 years and we had that put in a year into my starting here. ..I

I believe this is possible but would require the use of additional scripting to make it happen.

Using VBA or GP Power Tools (for v11 or later).

Step one: Upgrade to a supported version of GP.

GP 6.0 was released over 21 years ago.

Basically, I need a report that will tell me what we have sold within a time period, by class, rather than part number (as part numbers are all over the place and therefore difficult to extract in one process "mem, kvr, ddr, sram" etc but all parts will be in the correct class ID) .. I hope that makes sense.
