External Catalog Setup

I am trying setup an external catalog with one of our vendors who supports the OCI format. I am using AXCI protocol (only choice in the Shopping Protocol drop down) and provided the username and password in the session properties. When I click Validate Settings, I get a "HTTP 400 Bad Request" error. Is there any other setup that we need to do? 

I am using AX 2012 R3.

    Hi CJ,

    I apologize for the delayed reply!

    The AXCI protocol is different than the OCI protocol, so this isn't an issue with setup. Since protocols can change and we can include all protocols, only the AXCI protocol is provided by default.

    To use other protocols, you'll need to implement them yourself. There are two classes that provide a sample of implementing the OCI protocol included. They are the following classes.

    Sample_Code_CatMessageFormatterOCI40HTML
    Sample_Code_CatSetupForOCI40HTML
