Hi All,

 

Does anyone know how to remove the Group called All Modules form the SL menu?  Also, is there a source document for Menu development, other than the guide.  I can't find much on Tech knowldge.

    "All modules" is very interesting, because it's a way to get to screens that are not specifically listed on the menu at all.    Adding any Dynamics executable to the screen list puts it on the  "All Modules" menu. So no, I wouldn't recommend removing "All Modules" from the menu - and it's probably not possible anyway.

    What you might really want to know is how to remove "All Modules" from the list of modules on the left side of the screen in the Navigation Pane.    To do that, find the tiny arrow button in the bottom right of the panel listing modules on the left side of the menu.    Click on the arrow and select "Navigation Pane Options".   This is a check box that selects modules as on or off on the navigation pane.   But beware, everytime the menu is changed - either by adding menu items or assigning changed rights that change your menu - then the Navigation Pane appears to forget.

    As to a source document for menu maintenance... not that I know of.  I would LOVE to have one!!
