Cannot receive quantity 1.00 because inventory transactions with status Ordered, Arrived or Registered are insufficient.

Dear,

While doing Po receive I an getting below error message.

Cannot receive quantity 1.00 because inventory transactions with status Ordered, Arrived or Registered are insufficient.

Please suggest.

    Please check the inventory transactions related to this PO line. What is the status of these transactions?

    Dear Mr. André,

    Thanks for your reply. I have checked it in the inventory transaction there is no transaction.

    Though there should be some transaction with receipt status ordered. I am keep trying to find the reason.

    Please suggest.

    Hi Prashant,

    Was this order created manually ? Because if it was imported using DMF without "run business log" check box it could create PO without inventory  transactions.

    I was already afraid there there was no transaction. ievgen mentioned a likely cause for this. You have to find out how the PO was entered and probably if someone deleted records manually or via a script (by accident).

    Yes I have a customization of contract management and in purchase workflow. That was making issues. Its working fine now.

    I am getting same issue in posting one of my retail statement and I have a proper inventory transaction in status ordered exist but still it is getting this error. Please advise.
