SL2011 upgrade, Customization Manager and Windows Authentication

We are in process of upgrading from SL 7 FP1 SP3 to SL 2011 (Verison 8.00.20321.00 (8.0.0.0)) and also planning to change over to windows authentication mode.  I have realized that this causes VBA code that calls ad-hoc sql to break in Customization Manager.  Regular users do not have access to tables/views/stored procs and hence the problem.  I checked the documention but not able to find/locate anything about this (may be I'm missing something very obvious and basic here).

TIA
