    A.K.

A good place to start with problem transactions Integration Manager is to attempt to enter it by hand in Dynamics GP, this can often-times be instructive as to what the actual problem is.

Let me save you some efforts in here. This message pops up when the lot number quantity is greater than the quantity returned. In other words, if I am entering a transaction for 2 pieces of item (X) as shown below

    0160.11.png

Once you leave the field of the quantity shipped (in your case, should be the quantity returned), the lot number entry window will pop up requiring lot number details. If I enter 3 pieces, this warning will prevent me from saving a lot quantity that is greater than the quantity entered originally

Let know if you have any further inquiries,

    Thanks for your valuable input,

I am sorry i was not clear, my issue is with the Sales Return , (not the Purchase Return)

although your input was very much interesting ,

I am trying to recreate the error manually in the same conditions as you suggested

QTY RETURNED       DIFFERENT      LOT QTY RETURN

but i don't get the same error ,

let me know what you think

    Regards

I have just tested this scenario on GP 2010, it is identical to GP 2013.

Although, there is one single step that you might be missing, when you enter a quantity return of 2 as an example, the sales lot number details window will pop up right ?

If you enter one lot with a quantity bigger than 2, the system will not allow the insert of this lot stating (the quantity selected is greater than the extended quantity). To generate the error above, enter the first lot with (2), then insert (1) , the second lot will not be allowed to get inserted because (The maxim number of lot numbers have been inserted)

    Your feedback is highly appreciated,

the above is all true, never the less the problem still stands and there is weird behavior which should be noted that if we try to run the IM for a sales return that is for one single line, the integration passes successfully , which if it is for more than one item, then this error occurs.

    your feedback is greatly appreciated
