Hi Everyone,
I would like to split the dynamics 365 functionality between internal staff work groups e.g. Group 1 accesses Marketing, events, sales, field services relevant to their particular service group, Group 2 sees maybe only Customer Service and events data and workflows specific to them. From my research there seems to be a couple of options
1. Create Portals for internal use only
2. Configure settings for different security user groups
Basically the aim is to create mini Dynamics for each group, sharing the key master data, with the same functional capabilities but configured specifically for the group.
My question is, which one of the 2 options is the best to use? I jus want to save time trialing it out myself if anyone has experienced this.
