New feature "Enable project categories for on-account transactions" has no effect

This is for D365 Fin Ops, version 10.0.45.

I have tried enabling the feature "Enable project categories for on-account transactions":

According to this article (screenshot with relevant paragraph below), when this feature is enabled I should be able to create category groups for On-Account transactions, amongst other things.

However, when I try to create a category group for On-Account transactions, this transaction type is still not available even though feature is turned on.  The other parameters and options that should also appear in other forms are also missing.

Does anyone know why the options are not appearing for me after I enabled the feature?  Is there another feature that must be enabled or something like that?  Maybe this is feature is actually only available with a Project Operations license (we are on a Supply Chain license)?

    Hi TerjeHals,

The feature not only depends on feature flag, but also if the company is enabled for an integrated scenario with Project Operations core (on or off)

@André Arnaud de Calavon Thank you for the reply.

I take it to mean that we cannot make us of this functionality when we are just using FinOps.

@André Arnaud de Calavon we have the same issue and we are using Supply Chain Management in addition to Finance and operations.
Not sure where I find whether we are where to I find whether we are "enabled for an integrated scenario with Project Operations core (on or off)" .
Looking at feature details, the functionality is said to be available as per December 2025.
What version and build do we have to have in order to make it work?
We are currently on Installed product version : 10.0.45 (10.0.2345.78)

We are eager to test and utilize this new feature.

@IA-22011336-0 I think  you need to enable the feature " Enable Project Operations Integration" (under Feature Managment), and possibly turn on one of the new parameters that become available with this new feature.

I have not tried this myself, since we do not have Project Operations (only Finance and Operations)
