hi all

I am trying to reclassify my fixed asset. I am getting "The journal lines were successfully reclassified" but I can't see the journal in Fixed Assets G/L Journals. What could I be missing??. I am using chronus licence.

    Hi Romryan.

Indicate Rec % adn tick Rec. Acquisition cost and Rec. Depreciation.

Then, check your FA GL journal.

Please advise if this resolves your issue.

    Thanks.

    Hi RomRyan,

If your issue is not resolved as suggested by John Ray Patajo by filling in a Reclass % and defining if you want to also Reclassify the Acquisition cost and Accumulated Depreciation. Then you should also check which FA G/L Journal Batch is setup in your FA Journal Setup, as this may be different to the default.

You can see the details in this forum answer: community.dynamics.com/.../automatically-calculating-depreciation

Please let us know your result

    Regards,

    Martin

To reclassify a fixed asset, you must transfer it to a new fixed asset group or assign a new fixed asset number to it in the same group. When a fixed asset is reclassified: ... The date in the Depreciation run date field is copied from the original asset information.
