Workflow User Group Customization

Hi,

I have created a Custom Workflow for a custom table. It is working fine when there is a single approver which is Direct Approver.

But, when I am using a Workflow User Group, it is sending a notification to the 1st approver. When the 1st approver approves the document, it sends notification to the 2nd approver. When the 2nd approver approves the document, the status of the Document does not change but the Approval Entry shows Approved. I have checked that during the 2nd approval, the Workflow Step Instance table data for that Document gets deleted, hence causing this issue. But, I am not able to identify how to stop this deletion.

Any help would be great.

Kindly recheck your customization. Looks pretty sure you've mistaken something inside the custom workflow. Also check standard approval process for a standard table as you reference in creating custom workflow for custom table.

It looks like the Workflow Step Instance table is getting deleted prematurely, preventing the document status update after the final approval.

In Standard BC, once all the approvers in the group have approved, the status should change, unless you have some customization that is preventing this. If that's the case, please review your customization.
