My question is similar to what Guy was asking in old thread https://community.dynamics.com/ax/f/microsoft-dynamics-ax-forum/149858/default-inventory-status/341630#341630
Requirement
- I want all purchase lines that are received into dock but not yet put away to be in default stock status e.g. 'Received'.
- When I put items away, I want the stock status to be automatically updated from 'Received' to 'Available'.
For receipt part, I tried using 'default data' with 'to stock status' set to 'Received' on purchase receive mobile menu item. Sadly, default data, though available as parameter on mobile device menu item, doesn't work.
I then tried to use batch job 'stock status change' to change everything in the inbound dock from 'Available' to 'Received' and the reverse once it gets to stocking location. However, it's not possible to change inventory status for stock that is not yet put away (put away work exists).
Is there any other method I can use e.g. ensure all purchase lines are by default in status 'Received'? Appreciate the help
