List price greyed out

We switched to mulit-bin and multi-currency and sell as a % of list price.  Can't change list price on the item card, it's greyed out.

You need to click the Go To button and choose Item Currency to get at the list price now.

I need to change the List price for the price sheet.  Since it's grey'd out, I cant.  How do i change it?

The Go To button is on the top of the Item Maintenance screen. You then click Item Currency to get this:

Then you select your currency and enter the list price.

Richard, when I into Item Currency and change the List Price from $0.00 & click, it still keeps the List Price in the Item Maintenance at $0.00.  Do you have any suggestions of why it would not update in the Item Maintenance?

This is the disconnect within Dynamics - this situation has existed for as long as I can recall.  The item maintenance card does not have a way to 'choose' what List Price to show - so, it shows nothing.

If you work it out, with Multi Currency there are now several prices - a single field on the maintence card can not show the answer.

Hope you dont mind my jumping in on this - but I have had this matter for ever with most of my manufacturing related cleints.

Bill, Thanks. That makes sense. I see we enter a sales order it shows the correct list price.

If you turn on multi-currency and select a currency for your company the list price on the item maintenance screen should be dim. As Bill mentioned there will now be multiple possible item list price based on currency so it will not know which list price to show.
