Product attributes on Product Variant?

Hi,

I'm looking for some advice please - we have product attributes against our products but the business want to have vendor specific attributes - I thought it might be possible with Product Variants but the attributes still just go against the Product Master.

Is there a way to have attributes against the Product that are Vendor Specific?

For info, we have around 90 attributes and these vendor specific ones would apply to around 15 of those

Here is my suggestion.

You could make use of the product identifiers to achieve this requirement.
