Hey all,
Had a Marketing Rep come to me this morning with the following error. "Rule AudienceAndSuppressionCannotbeSameSegmentRule failed to evaluate properly."
Looking at the Customer Journey in question, the error only appears when she tries to do a Customer Journey and set the Audience to both a Segment and a Subscription List. She also uses a Suppression List that is a Segment, but that is not the same as the Segment or Subscription List being used. It makes me think that this particular Rule is firing off incorrectly.
Looking back further, this Marketing Rep had created other Journeys as early as a month ago with Segments and Subscription Lists in the same Journey with no issue. When I go into these and error check them, I still get the rule error, despite seeing the successful delivery of the Customer Journey.
Could someone direct me on where I can view the Rules for Dynamics Marketing so I can see why this Rule is firing off, or does anyone know of a feature that was deprecated that no longer allows Subscription Lists and Segments being used in the same Journey?
Thanks in advance.
Hi nwebber,
This may be a bug,you can open one ticket for Microsoft support.

Or you can try to create a new segment explicitly from the provided subscription list, and then choose the segment instead of the provided subscription list.
