we have also tried using the copy(file) function but no success

    hi,

this scenario is not possible with the functions you used, because these function need a server and a client. running these functions out from a page (using the rtc client), there is a client. running it as nas job then there is no client, but server with server! so change the code:
    - use simple nav functions
    - OR try using dotnet functions

    best regards

The Downloadtoclient feature works with clients, just like the name suggests.

If you want to download a file from within nas just use the download function.

    msdn.microsoft.com/.../dd301195.aspx

If you want the silent download (not opening up a new window to ask you where to store the file) check this out: msdn.microsoft.com/.../dn647267.aspx
