Hi friends,
Unfortunately I cannot get a new Field to show up in the Field Explorer selection pane to be able to add it to a Form.
This only happens when I set the type to 'File' i.e. a field that allows users to upload documents.
Any ideas why this is happening and how it can be mitigated?

Where did you add it, UI or CI? It would not disappear in the Field Explorer of the CI.
I created two field type field:
You can see them in the UI:
They are invisible in the CI:
Indeed, I was in the CI -- and it was not showing. But in the UI it showed up. Thank you.
