Hello!

I'm on the newer side of using Great Plains. With now being in 2024, I need to update the PO numbers used for my company since we use the year in the PO number. I see that I can manually type out a PO number but how do I change the default so it sticks with the 2024 PO number vs. the 2023 PO number?

Change the setup.

From the menus: Microsoft Dynamics GP >> Tools >> Setup >> Purchasing >> Purchase Order Processing.

From the Area Pages: Purchasing >> Setup >> Purchase Order Processing.

The next numbers are shown at the top of the window.

In addition to David's post, you may also need to update the Minimum PO Number if you have it activated in Professional Services Toolkit (PSTL). (If it is activated, you'll see it in the Purchase Order Processing Setup window under Additional > MinPONum.)

Thank you both for the answer!

I'm still stuck, as the path David suggested only gets me so far, I'm missing the last folder and not sure where else I may find it.
