Deduction Dates and Pay Period Dates

We had an issue with payroll benefits and deduction last payroll. What I want to confim is this: if a benefit or deduction Start Date is after the From date in the  Pay Period Date Range of Build Payroll Checks then that Benefit/Deduction will not be taken. The Start Date for a Benefit or Deduction must occur before the start of the Pay Period Date Range.

I am looking for an answer to this as well.  My testing indicates that as long as the start date is on or before the To Date in the pay period date ranges for the deduction, It will take.
