File auto get from local pc to Business central

Hello everyone,

I am trying to get the file to business central from my local system I am unable to find the solution that how i get the file from local system to Business central blob field without uploading. I just have to click the action and system will automatically read the file from some specific path to Business central.

Please help me with some solution.

SaaS or OnPremise?

If SaaS you'll need to use external development. I've achieved it creating an API in node.js that publishes my FileSystem and in BC SaaS I use the methods to this API.

Is OnPrem, you can use a BLOB, and table.BlobField.export('C:\PathYouLike \fileYouLike'); and the same to import: table.BlobField.Import('C:\PathYouLike \fileYouLike');

I have the on cloud version of business central, How we can achieve using the SaaS? Is there any other way to get the file in BC blob storage?
