Hi

I had a site and warehouse and my warehouse is divided into 3 logical locations "Loc-A, B and C.  I have 3 items X, Y and Z and i need to associate these items to a unique location.

for eg  Location A contains item X, B contains Y and C contains Z.  How to set the location under warehouse as default in AX and i need to do purchase and sales at this level.

Can someone help me on this?

    Hi K.Subramanian,

First, navigate to your item X on the released products page. Then open up the "Warehouse items" form found in the "Manage inventory" tab. Here you can create a new line on item X and specify a default location for Receipt/Issue and Picking within each warehouse.

    Regards,

    Matt

    Hi

Thanks for the reply.  I could configure  the issue and receipt location for the product.  But when i crete a sale order / Purchase order, the system is validating for pickup location and the pickup location seems to be a different master.

While crating a PO, the pickup location should be same as receipt location and while making a sale order, the issue location must be same as pickup location, why system is looking for a different value instead of defaulting from these values.

    Could you explain

    Hi K. Subramanian,

Would you mind changing the tag from '...Management Reporter' to something that suits better? It's confusing and can make it more difficult getting Feedback/solution for your issue.

    Many thanks and best regards,

    Ludwig
