Warehouse storage dimension group question

Hi,

I have rather simple question for You guys,

Is it possible to setup the storage dimension group to be able to store the item in both warehouse and location at the same time, so when the guy will be making a purchase order, he will be able to choose location but its not mandatory.

If yes then: how?

If no then, i guess i have to use some kind of workaround location and just put every item that would go o warehouse location there?

    Hi EmilP

    Yes you can do that from the storage dimension setup

    And from the purchase order line choose dimension display and add the location to allow the user to enter it while creating the PO

    Thanks for your reply, now that You confirmed that it is possible i knew that it was something on my side, turns out i had default receipt location set which was automatically changing the location for the item, now its working, thanks!
