Will MX830 Work with RMS 2.0?

I have a client that has been using the VeriFone 1000SE as a pinpad w/ RMS.  They are changing CC processors and want to change the capture device as well.  The processor wants to supply the MX830.  Will this work?  I can't really find any references regarding it working.  I did see a couple of posts that referred to a hotfix in 2013 that fixed an issue with the MX860 so I'm assuming someone out there is using the 830.  If not, any suggestions on which device will work?

    I would wait as RMS' implementation is not real good for the 860, as I'm told.

    Wait to see what they offer in the next SP in December, I'm told.

    Thanks Jeff.  Do you have a suggestion of another model with similar features or should we stick with the old pin pads for now?

    If they were using Mercury as their processor, there are a couple of options, the iPAD from Magtek and the Sign & Pay from IDTech.  The are also working on the Verifone and Ingenico products as well, I'm told.

    Otherwise, stick with the 1000 for now as more changes with PCI regs are coming.

    Hello Jeff, will the Verifone MX870 work without any addins? what would you say is the best way to implement EBT using pin pads, use a terminal along side or implement a sig capture pin like the above mentioned pinpads?

    Please advise at earliest conv, you insight is much appreciated
