I'm looking into an issue for a client.
They have Copied Company A, to create Company B, which they are using as a new business entity. They are now trying to pull data from Company B using Power BI and the built- in Business Central Connector.
Most data is being called fine, however when trying to pull out the Dimensions they're running into issues. In Power Query Editor- the dimension list table shows all available dimensions on both companies, but the dimension entries id coming up blank for company B, except for new dimension values made directly in company B. so, we can definitely see the table data in powerBI, but something is restricting these dimension values that are copied over from showing.
The web services and user permissions are identical on both companies, and the advanced query used to pull the data is also the same.
When I pull the data through an OData v4 url in a web connector, all the data is there.
Does anyone know where else I could look for a discrepancy? I'm currently not sure if it could be an issue with the connector, or just Business Central.
