Hello,
I'm using Copilot in Sales app on Dynamics 365. When type in " Show me opportunies" and getting below error:
This error occurs on every input inquiry.

Sales

It looks like your request to show opportunities triggered an error when searching the CRM.

Here’s the exact message returned:

“Search failed! Request 'QuerySkillStructuredData' failed.”

This means the system couldn’t retrieve any opportunity data due to an internal search issue.

You can try again with a more specific question (for example: “Show me my open opportunities” or “Show opportunities for account <name>”), but if the error persists, it may indicate a configuration or access issue.

For troubleshooting, you can refer to:

The QuerySkillStructuredData step is part of Copilot’s backend pipeline that retrieves data from CRM. If that step fails, Copilot cannot return results even if the underlying opportunities exist.
    Questions from you to clarify:
Are you running or testing this as administrator or salesperson.
that missing privileges, incorrect permissions, or environment restrictions can cause Copilot problems when accessing CRM data , are you sure that you profile is configured properly ?
Have you reviewed your copilot settings ?  is your environment fully enabled for Copilot ?

Verify if copilot is fully enabled : Follow the below links

    Regards,
    Manoj

    Hey,

Simply go to Settings Tab in the Copilot Sales Agent, and turn on Copilot Ai,
You will need tenant admin access level in order to enable it, looking at your screenshots I can see there is issues of the configuration of the bot.

    for configurating it look at
    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-sales-copilot/administrator-settings-sales-app

and be aware of this point while trying to make it work

Microsoft Microsoft 365 Copilot for Sales costs $50 per user per month. Customers who already have Microsoft 365 Copilot licenses can purchase Microsoft 365 Copilot for Sales for an additional $20 per user per month. Dynamics 365 Sales Premium customers will need to pay $30 per user per month for Microsoft 365 Copilot to get the full Microsoft 365 Copilot for Sales experience.

    Regards.
