Hello, I am having a issue, with GP, I tried to reconcile the AP to the GL and found that none of the entires tie with one another to reconcile, Which I am still trying to figure out how to reconcile this issue. ( any suggestions would be appreciated.)
But my question is about the AP aging account, if the Reconcile to GL utility does not work..... How do I reconcile AP aging to GL using Excel?

1. You have to use the Historical Aged Trial Balance and do an aging as of the end of the month. make sure that you are using the GL posting date and run with from the beginning of time to the EOM
2. Then you have to look at your A/P account (hopefully one) and compare the amount on the A/P as of the end of the month. These should match.
3. If they don't match, look at anything that hit the A/P account directly from a GL entry (shouldn't be) and look for dating issues. I used to watch for trx at the beg of the month and end of the month that posted to the subledger and the GL on different dates.
As to the GL reconcile to A/P: You need to tell it what all your a/p accounts are: we have several and we list them all and then run the reconciliation. And it works perfectly. Usually when it is off, it will show you why it is off. GL trx posted against an A/P account or and read the TK that has been provided to you.

Do you mean you have the Reconcile utility but you can't match the results provided in the Generated Excel Sheet ?
