Scheduling for several production lines simultaneously

Our company has several similar production lines.For example,a BOM item A  could be produced in different lines,simultaneously.(suppose lines 1,2 and 3 produce an item A).For each line,we create one Route in Dynamics,but always,only one Route is active in our dynamics software!!!

(for example just for Route 1) and when we schedule with Master plan Modulefor an item A,Master plan only see line 1 and nothing (no other lines).

The question is,how we could schedule an item in several lines simultaneously?

    You cannot get it to magically jump across lines, the three are independent, if they were singular you would plan as one, if you always used all three the route would be set for quantity of work centres 3. You cannot define a rule for this, it depends upon resource capacity and human intervention - how could the system plan for this?

    Our problem is not the number of work centers or the number of work centers which are activated.

    First, consider the situtation that we have different operation times for different work center for a particular item "A" which we wanna produce in all of these work centers. What is the solution for this case?

    Second,

    We have several lines and routes with different times for producing a particular item "A". Our production strategy is MTO. For example We have a sales order of 60 for a particular item "A" and we want to deliever it for customer by tomorrow evening. We have 3 production lines and daily capacity of them are as follows:

    line1: 30

    line2: 22

    line3: 18

    So we should use all lines to deliever the order on time. How could we plan all this routes(production lines) together with master planning madule?

    The issue is ALL lines, but you have not told AX how this works, if there is a requirement of 60 and capacity of the lines are 60 and this is always applied to all three you would have created the lines as a single resource with a capacity of 60, you split them because other areas use single or multuple, you could also say in the routing this needs 3 but it would still not work, because you would want this to be dynamic.

    Basically it does not do what you want it to do because there is no way of configuring the system to say in instance A the route does this with regards to resources, if B it does this, if C it does this, the jumping across lines is dependent upon the current situation and a rule set you cannot define.

    You either need to restructure the data, or modify the routing and planning to cope with this. I do not have an indepth knowledge of your requirement and this sort of element would be extensively workshoped so there is no five minute fix.
