Recover deleted Audis Logs on Dynamics 365

Hi,

We use Dynamics 365 since 2018 and on the end of last August we received several warnings regarding the Database reaching the size limit.

We contacted our partners and they listed several tasks that would free some space on the DB.

The problem is that one of those tasks was removing older Audit Logs and I didn't realize that it would compromise the CRM user change history...

Now we ABSOLUTELY need to recover the lost audit information. Is there any way to do this?

Please help me! SOS

Kind regards,

LPA

    Hey!

Unfortunately, you can't recover just the logs.  The best approach you might take is to perform a restore from your environment into another (sandbox) environment.  Keep in mind that Production environment only have 28 days of retention, meaning that you can restore an image of your environment from 28 days ago.  Also, it's important to note that this will consume storage (as this is a new environment with all the data on it).
