Email Editor less advanced after recent update

Hi!

After updating Dynamics for Marketing yesterday, the email editor seems to be less advanced. It's now impossible to choose your own color when in 'Designer' mode (#00000): you can only choose from the standard colors. And when clicking on a design element, it stays selected. Therefore the toolbar keeps being visible even when you click elsewhere. Any suggestions on how to solve this?

Thanks for getting back to me Megan. We will wait for the aug/oct releases and use the work around in the mean time.

    Hi Marjolijn,

I'm sorry that you encountered this issue with the email designer.  Based on your feedback, the team has looked into these issues and determined that we have some bugs in the latest release.  The color designer bug is tentatively set to be fixed in the September release, while the design element staying selected, is tentatively scheduled for the August release.  Until that time, as Clofly has mentioned, the  HTML is the workaround.

We will add these items to our testing suite to close that gap and I will ask that this be added to the Readme.  You can check the Readme to validate the fix timelines.
    Thanks,

    Megan

    Hi Marjolijn,

    Thanks for feedback.

I find that when we manually choose a color for text element, the text HTML source code will be contained within span tag with a fixed color style attribute.

So currently we could only replace it with our favorite color code.

    Clofly
