Hi,

My webclient self-signed certicate get expired. So I have created new self-signed certificate and bind that certificate with GP webclient. Now, there is no certification issue, but I am getting the above issue(In the screenshot). Can any one experience this issue? Also, please suggest how to extend the self-signed certificate?

    Did you re-bind the new cert to all the services too? Or did you just create a new self-signed cert and bind it in IIS?

    As Tom comments - I seem to recall that when our cert expired we had to spend a bunch of time reconnecting it to all the services - did not work just binding in IIS

    All situations can be different, so be sure to document what you do.  As the IT support that I was working with 'did not' but got the solution working, I can not share enough details - sorry.

    Yup, Bills correct on this one.

    We too had a self-signed cert expire before we realized it and I didn't have any knowledge on how to replace it. My first initial thought since the site is hosted in IIS was to just re-bind it at the site level, run an IIS reset and restart all services and voila site up and running......far from it.

    I flat out ran through the entire web client install from the install media because it associates your cert to number of different ports and services.

    You could just run a repair on the web client and do it that way too.

    Yea wasn't fun, lost a few hours of my morning that day.

    Suggestion, buy a wildcard, pricey but worth it. Then just renew it before it expires. Self-signed is nice but annoying.

    Worse than the cost of the 'wildcard' is that we are doing this in TEST and still have to do the LIVE implementation.  Likely at that time, we will get an external Cert and pay for that.  Not during testing.

    The issue is resolved. I have repaired the web-client and selected the new self signed certificate. Now it is working fine in our environment. Thanks for all your replies.
