So cycle counting inventory? product receipt counting? mfg process counting? possibly counting sheep?
there is a mobile app for cycle counting that works great, you can download the app and use your phone as scanner to test it out. You can have it setup in less than an hour (sometimes less than a day) If you have D365 Finance and Operations chances are you have this under Warehouse>Setup>Mobile and away you go.
You asked about which devices and there are a few that DONT work. some of the imports i have purchased are super cheap and have a ton of features but you couldnt change the browser and it made for a TON for css work where as the more expensive (motorola) never had problems.
It really means the browser is important so chrome, firefox and ms look good and no css issues, other offshoot browsers look awful
