Hybrid Installation of Dynamics GP Web Client

Thanks in advance for answers, and I've driven myself crazy looking for a definitive answer. A client needs a hybrid Terminal Server/Web Client deployment, and would like to use the Windows Server 2012 with Terminal Services (Terminal Server) as the Web Client server in addition to running that same client in their RDS environment. I haven't found anything to say it is or is not supported in that configuration. The server is NOT virtual.

Other than bandwidth and the usual I/O concerns, is there any reason why it wouldn't work?

Thanks Mike. I appreciate the confirmation that others are doing it as well, and that you utilize a separate instance of GP. I'm still looking for the official Microsoft position on this. I don't want Microsoft giving us the 'not supported' line after we tell the client it's OK.

It is of course best practice to have 2 separate servers (one for TS and one for GP webclient).

However, You can use the terminal server machine to host the dynamics GP web client. My recommendation is to perform a separate GP install for the Web client (separate from the one used by those RDPing to the terminal server.

We often deploy GP in the manner your describe for our clients upgrading to GP2015 so that they can "test drive the web client".
