Dear Community,
we are in process of launching business central and came across an issue.
In our current system all orders for items which are not on stock but have a open PO are automatically reserved. Now we learned that in Business Central these items would just be reserved aganst open Purchase Orders if we run the ATP.
Ok fine, the issue is now that we are having big amount of weborders, and it would mean we would have to touch every single order and manually run the ATP, to ensure that resevations are made against the PO. This is a huge impact on workload for our business, so we are investigating how we can optimize and reduce this workload.
Are there any options to do a batch processing? Or is maybe power automate an opportunaty to manage this workload? Or is there any other options, that you e.g. run a job on a daily bases, were all orders are picked, ATP is run and reservations made against PO`s?
We would be very gratefull for any solutions.
