Hi All,
We have the requirement to send on hand inventory-related information to the external system.
Microsoft recently released the Inventory visibility Add-in for D365.
Can anyone give me an explanation of how it works, the pros and cons and prerequisite of using this add-in.....
How effectively it sends the information to other systems
Yes, Andre,
In the link, they have given sufficient information but I am still in a confusion about how it is effective.
It would be great if anyone from the forum had experience in installing the add-in.
I have a doubt basically where to set the trigger event when there is an update happened on the on-hand information, because there may be many ways where we can update the on-hand inventory information, so which table/class/field acts as a trigger
Hi Pravasti,
The Inventory visibility add-in is not sending information to other systems. Other systems can inquire on-hand information and can send updates to the service (sales, purchases, etc).
You can find information about the public API's to connect with the service here: Inventory Visibility Add-in - Supply Chain Management | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Docs
