Default Members List in Marketing List doesn't work any more

Hello,

I'm trying to get the Members List in the Marketing List back to work or better to set it back to default.

The members list doesn't work or show the previous default view list anymore. After I made some minor changes in the main form of Marketing List and adjusted the formatting properties of the subgrid 'Contacts' from 'Two columns' to 'One column'. Now the 'One column' is greyed out and can't be selected anymore.

As a workaround I tried to add a new sub-grid and wanted to add the view as source 'Contact List Members View'. But views of the type 'Associated View' can not be selected for subgrids.

Any ideas how to restore the members list back to default or get it work again?

Many thanks!

    Hello,

    Can you try following

    1. Create a new CRM Organization - and create there a solution "vanilla" containing the Marketing List. Export the solution as unmanaged.

    2. Create on your CRM Organization a new solution "prod" containing as well the Marketing List - export it as unmanaged.

    3. Copy from the Customizations.xml of "vanilla" solution the formXml definition and replace the formxml definition in "prod"

    4. Rezip and reimport the solution

    5. Publish All Customizations

    6. Clear the browser cache and see if this fixes the issue.

I think this is also an old bug - so installing the latest Update Rollup might fix your issue.

    Regards,

    Radu

Thanks, I will try it out, if we can get a vanilla instance running.

So if we update the CRM to version 9.X (currently running 8.2), how can this bug be fixed?

    Hi,

I faced the same issue before :)

Export the Marketing list entity with required form and manually copy the vanilla CRM form subgrid and replace the corrected subgrid only (into your CRM solution - keep backup before changing). then you are all set to install in back with only required changes.
