When you define a System View (like Open Opportunities) with filters, those filters are respected in the grid view.
But in Kanban, the control sometimes doesn’t apply advanced filters (like “does not equal”) consistently for system views.
Personal Views
Personal Views almost always respect the filters across grid and Kanban.
That’s why your personal view works but the system view does not.
Why the difference?
The Kanban board is technically a PCF control bound to the Opportunity entity.
It is optimized for specific system views (Open Opportunities, My Opportunities, etc.) and sometimes ignores complex filters applied at the system level.
Microsoft has a few known bugs/limitations logged in this area e.g., “Does Not Equal” conditions not respected in Kanban for certain system views
