First, make sure that you have setup the Subjects and Currencies in the Target CRM as per in the source CRM. If the Subjects and Currencies records are very few then you can create these manually or otherwise you can migrate these using SSIS as well.

The order for migrating the Product and related entity data is as follows.

    • Unit Groups- When you migrate the Unit Groups default unit associated with it is automatically created in the target system.
    • Units
    • Price Lists
    • Products
    • Price List Items

Note: If you are creating the Subjects and Currencies manually in the target CRM then while mapping the lookups of these two entities, map these with the name.

    Hope this helps!

    Hi DynamicsCRMstar

The following article discusses the order to do this migration from Kingswaysoft

    www.kingswaysoft.com/.../Announcing-Migration-Starter-Pack-for-CRM-Online-and-CRM-On-Premise

The diagram shows the appropriate order of the conversion.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,

    Hi,

I reckon the best way would be

    1. Unit
    2. Price List
    3. Product
    4. Price List Item
