Hi,

our AX is use CU11, when we test it and find that change password module seems have some issue.

1. Change Password not valid password policy, after check with AOT and notice that StaffChangePassword not include with policy check. and Commerce invokeMethod return type is void, then how to pass error message from AOT to Retail POS?

2. Change Password failed will pop up two error message dialog.

3. Change Password error message resource is use "string_6613", actually this message is "POS terminal", and same with Reset Password.

Is there any mistake with CU11 version? or my local version is not correct?

Hi Beibei,

Are you trying to change "Staff/Worker" password for Retail Store?

If yes then there is no policy in any version of AX for password of worker to login in Retail Store.

Could you please check if the password you entered complies with the parameters you have configured in password strength fast tab on Retail Parameters screen.

Hi Hassan,

thank for your reply.

I'm noob for Dynamic ax, not sure is how many roles inside AX, the account what am I talk about is use to login Retail POS, we already set retail parameter and when we set initial password for login account again with policy, AX will pop up dialog and force we change it. but at MPOS side we can change to any password.

is this original design?

Yes we already set this. but when we change password at Retail POS side it's not work. but when we set initial passsord at AX side it work...
