Hi Experts,

'Run Workflow' (on demand) option in new UCI is missing from the 'sub grid' (associated view). It shows on the main form under the 'Flow' option but it's nice to have under associated view which is currently showing and working in Classic interface. I am not sure why Microsoft has removed this feature in UCI.

Please let us know if any workaround for this.

Hi Seeni,

Unfortunately, there is currently no way to add the Flow button to sub-grids or associated views to run on-demand workflows.

There is an Idea that also illustrates this problem, you can vote for it. The Microsoft team will focus on high-voting ideas and plan to implement them.

Currently, we can only manually create a personal view with the same filtering as the sub-grid, and then run on-demand workflows for the records of the personal view.

You could try to reproduce the flow button to the subgrid with the ribbon workbench, Ive done this with other buttons, not the flow.

Use the advanced find (upper right), display the record and you will see the option to run the workflows.

If you want to use Flow. You need to enable it for your in Admin for D365. You will see the Flow menu with the option to run or create one.
