Hi All,

I need to change one of my released product's names, I can make changes but I am looking for some ways to make this change applicable for all previous transaction of this product (like SO, TO ,etc), is it possible?

Hi herodabaghi.

When you change the name of a product, this change applies to the previous transactions of the product.

Because in other product related tables, the Item ID is stored, not the product name.

Hi,
Go to All products and product master in PIM module. select the product number and click edit in maintain tab. now product name text box will be editable. (Then check in released products tab, it will automatically change)

You can update items name from EcoResproductTransalation

Hi Again!

I made the changes it is ok for SO, TO, on hand inventory ,sale reports, ... but it didn't affect on previous journals like packing slip and invoice.

Any idea?

Hi Hero.
You can use this sql query for see SO state in Cust Journal :

select * from CustInvoiceJour
inner join SALESTABLE on SALESTABLE.SALESID = CustInvoiceJour.SALESID

and this sql query for PO state in Vend Packing Slip :

select * from VENDPACKINGSLIPJOUR
inner join PURCHTABLE on PURCHTABLE.PURCHID = VENDPACKINGSLIPJOUR.PURCHID

Thanks for reply Amir,

as you know in packing slip journal and invoice journal we see description of product, not product name, cause of that the changes which were made on product name didn't affect in these journals.

and I don not know if there is any solution to make them change or not!
