Options for mapping locations in CRM

Is there any way to create a map showing all prospects in a given area?  (i.e., If I wanted to show all of our active accounts in the state of New York, for example)  I know that I can query this information easily enough in CRM, but is there a way to bring it together in map representation?  We would like to use this for scheduling appointments, etc.

I get the feeling this may not be supported, but maybe I am missing something?

Currently we use CRM 2011, but our 2013 upgrade will be coming in end of Jan 2014.

Here is one example - it happens to force the results into a custom chart but you could display the web resource you are using in a dashboard or form. It is just a matter of changing the query to the REST endpoint to retrieve the data you need to display.
