Customer aging report across multiple legal entities

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hello everyone,

We were wondering if there is possibility to run the customer aging report across multiple legal entities, or does it require customization in order to achieve that? We have been analyzing the available options in the system, but did not find anything like that.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Teodora

    Hello Ludwig,

Yes, we did the setup in order for this possibility to be enabled and create multiple aging snapshots at the same time.

However, we have a request from our client for a possibility to generate the customer aging report in one go for multiple legal entities. Is that even possible?

    Regards,

    Teodora

    Hello MATTGUO,

    Thank you for the suggestion.

We have not set up centralized payments for all legal entities as you stated in your example, so up until now we were only able to age balances per legal entity.

However, I was wondering if there is a possibility to generate the customer aging report with multiple legal entities as well, as it was shown in the customer aging snapshot?

    Hello Teodora,

You need to set up Centralized Payments for these legal entities, then can select multiple legal entities when running the customer aging snapshot.

Please try it first in your test environment.

    Hi Teodora,

You can run customer aging across all legal entities in the standard application. Simply select  the 'age customer balances' periodic job in the credit and collections module and select the companies in the company range section. Then hit ok to create the aging snapshot and once it is finished open the aged balances form to see the result.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
