ActiveX always say port is already open when i open the form sectond times

Hi All 1411._FE56CF50_-7.png ,

If any could you help me to resolve below problem?

It always error" Port already open" when I open this form twice.

It works ok if I only open once of this form.

On the init method I call this openComm method, but it seems PortOpen cannot really get if another form is open this port.

It would help if you explained what your form does. Most importantly, which ActiveX control is it using? Does PortOpen() really check whether the port is open? The error suggests that your check doesn't work.

Hi Martin,

It connect to a electronic scale, but this form will be opened by differenct person, so it will be opened mutil on the sametimes.

yes, the check is not work, so i want know how to check it and if it can be work like this way.

All right, but which object are you using through the ActiveX control? I can't comment on the expected behavior of a class without knowing which class it is.
