Closing quote as Won closes the rest of the quotes and closes the opportunity as won

Hi Experts,

Right now the system is in such a way that if there are multiple quotes(Active and Drafts) for an opportunity and i close one of the quotes as Won and create and order off of it. The opportunity is still open and the other quotes are still lying there in Draft or Active status. Is there a way that closing a quote as Won closes the rest of the quotes and closes the opportunity as won. Because right now its backwards where after creating the order i have to come again into the opportunity to close the rest of the quotes to make the opportunity as won(Where i have actually won it hence the order).

Also in this backward step when i close the last quote as cancelled, it asks if i want to revise it,  when i say no to it, it asks if i need to close the opportunity and if i say yes the only option there is to close the opportunity as lost with $0 revenue, which is not the case because this same opportunity has a quote that is won and also has an order. The only way out of this is to say no to close the opportunity when it asks and then go back to the opportunity and close it as Won, which is backwards in a backward step.

Please let me know if there is a way to do it, or if i am following a wrong process. Thanks in advance for your help.

You can automate this process using a simple flow.

Please refer to the following link:

The process should trigger on quote status change to cover the scenario of quote closed as lost / cancelled. But you can always choose your triggering point based on your business needs

Hi Ba365, I am trying to replicate your screenshot but finding it hard to follow, its basically because i have never used flow. And i have questions on the trigger point too, should i do it on Quote closed as Won or should i do it at Order creation. In our org, every order is created from the quote. So when create order is clicked on a quote this should trigger something like that. Also i am trying to understand the logic of how you have written it, for me as a quote is converted to order the rest of the quotes(if any) should be closed and the opportunity closed as won, in the flow how do i make it close all the other quote except the one from which the order is created. I am confused please help me out.

Thanks for your followup and response.

@Ba365guy, thank you so much i got this working but was able to close the quote only by updating the quote itself with the status of close rather than creating a new quote close activity.
