What is this component in CRM? Is it generated by Javascript or C# code?

This yellow box with a message pops up when using a smart button in the ribbon to start a workflow.

What is this thing and how is it generated?

Could I create this on any entity in CRM? Is it generated by Javascript code or C# code? 

It doesn't look like a standard Javascript alert box.

This is version 8.2 on prem.

    This  is generated from javascript.

    It is inbuilt in smart buttons.

    Hello Reggie,

    It is a notification.

    Basically if you want to show some custom messages to users then CRM will allow developers to show messages using notifications.

    It will have 3 types Warning(yellow), Error(Red), Info(Blue).

    If you want to implement this then you will need to use JavaScript code.
