Login to GP18.3 showing unhandled database exception

After upgraded to 18.3, I saw the following error when I tried to login to GP:

Unhandled database exception:
An open operation on table '[Not Found]' cannot find the table.

EXCEPTION_CLASS_DB_MISSING
DB_ERR_TABLE_NOT_FOUND

I hit okay to pass this error, GP will continue to load itself & 3rd party products without any problem, GP is fine after login. I looked DEXSQL and it did not tell me much.

Does anyone have seen this type of problem?

Hi Rob,

That error is a Dex error stating that there is a table that Dex is being told to open, but it doesn't know what the table is called. I would assume this would be a temp table.

Chances are one of the third parties just didn't get updated correctly or something along those lines.

You may be able to use a Script.log to better track down what is going on:

Hi Justin,

I cannot use ScriptDebugger=TRUE in dex.ini to obtain the script log because the error is before I get into GP desktop, I have to click Ok to pass the error, it is too late to create a log to track. What I fix this time actually is to unload FA and reload FA code to get around the problem. It is just like if you installed HR then later you uninstalled HR, you will run into an error next time you login back to GP, I have to rename dynamics.exe.configure in order to login back to GP without problem. You have to have this file in GP folder otherwise the GP upgrade software will not be able to install without this file.
