Hi i have report with many parameter , all the parameter is working fine except parameter with date value, Afer picking a date to filter my entity it will shows error date is not with the right format, i fix this with change the parameter type to text, But i think it will ruin the user experience if i change the parameter to text, because the user must enter the date manualy. Anyone know to fix this ? Thanks in advance

    Hey Keysersozeey,

This usually happens because of the locale difference between CRM server and the Report's language. Eg, in India we use "dd/mm/yyyy" while in the US the default is "mm/dd/yyyy". This causes obvious issues for a date like 15/10/2018, this is valid date in India but invalid in US format.

To quickly fix this, just change the reports language to match the CRM server's locale, refer docs.microsoft.com/.../set-the-locale-for-a-report-or-text-box-reporting-services for step by step instructions.

    Hi Keysersozeey,

You can display the date parameter as a date control to the end user, and then format the date as desired. Check out this blog post for an idea on how to do this.
