When a user is log into Solomon the userid and password are send it encrypted?

I'm trying to know if when the login process to Solomon is executed (when the user provides his user and password), Solomon send that information encrypted. Using an standard?

    Unfortunately, Ihaven't found any documentation by anyone what level / type of encryption is being

    applied to passwords and secure data in Solomon 6.5 (Dynamics SL) or in

    configuration files. Can anyone shed any light of this?
