I have an item which is made up from an assembly BOM.
It consists of a raw material and a colour.
As it want to sell the item in different colours I would like to make variants of it.
At the same time I want to be able to choose the colour when I make an assembly order, and then choose the variant colour.
Example:
Item 1234 consists of raw material A and Colour black as standard. (Both raw material A and Colour black has their own item number)
I want to sell Item 1234 in blue, so the Colour black needs to be replaced by Colour blue in the assembly BOM. The amount of colour is the same.
Is there an easy way to make this happen?
