On the general journal there two hidden fields. "Map Text to Account" and "Apply Automatically".
The Apply automatically works on the same principle as the Payment Reconciliation Journal.
After making the Application fast tab visible and applying Payments/ Refunds we noticed that an Invoice is created for the Payment and a Credit Memo is created for the Refund.
Also. The Apply Automatically only works when no Account No. is not added. The Application finds a Customer which name matches the description the most and the add the Account No. to the lines.
Question
1. For the Map Text to Account. Is there a way to change the Hierarcy to of which fields to look at first and then move to the next field?
2. How can we prevent BC from creating Invoices and Credit Memos for every payment and refund?
